Over the past years, Gavin has continued to grow his portfolio of outdoor recreation certifications, taking the activities that he's been part of for years and continuing his education into the professional field of guiding and outdoor education leadership. Gavin's current certifications include:
- NOLS Wilderness First Responder
- AMGA Single Pitch Instructor
- AIERE Level 1 Avalanche Training
- Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid
- California Epinephrine Auto-Injector Cert.
- Whitewater Raft Guide School

College:
